About The Classic Center
The Classic Center is downtown Athens's premier large-scale performing arts and convention complex on North Thomas Street. It includes a theater and arena hosting major national touring acts, comedy tours, sporting events, and large community events. The facility serves as the region's primary destination for touring acts too large for the intimate club circuit, and is also home to the Athens Rock Lobsters indoor football team.
