Information We Collect

Live Music Spots collects information you choose to send us, such as newsletter email addresses, contact form messages, venue submissions, and Submit Live Music details.

On the Venues page, you may optionally use address, zip code, or browser GPS/location features to find nearby venues. Location use is optional. Browser GPS permission is handled by your device/browser, and we do not use it to build a personal location profile.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to send newsletter updates, respond to messages, review event and venue submissions, improve the site, and help visitors find local live music.

If analytics or cookies are enabled, we may use them to understand site traffic, popular pages, search behavior, and general usage patterns. This helps us improve coverage and user experience.

Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate the site, including hosting, forms, email/newsletter delivery, analytics, and map/geocoding-related tools. These may include Vercel, Formspree, Buttondown, Google Analytics, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, Anthropic, the National Weather Service, 511GA, Ticketmaster, and Impact.

Anthropic may process public event and venue listing details to produce the daily live music summary. We do not send visitor names, email addresses, location data, search text, or other personal information to Anthropic for that summary.

Weather, traffic, and major-event context is requested by the server for the public areas where listed shows occur. We do not send a visitor's precise location or personal information to those planning-data providers.

These providers process information as needed to provide their services. Their own privacy policies may also apply.

Affiliate ticket links are routed through Impact so qualifying purchases can be attributed to Live Music Spots. This covers Ticketmaster and the other ticketing brands in its affiliate program, including Front Gate Tickets, Universe, TicketWeb, Moshtix, Veeps, and Quicket. Those companies and Impact may use cookies or similar tracking technologies under their own privacy policies when you follow those links.

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We may publish event or venue listing information you submit if it is intended for public display.

Unsubscribe, Corrections, and Deletion

Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe option. You can also request correction or deletion of personal information by emailing [email protected].

Children

Live Music Spots is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
